When I start, it starts to accelerate sound strange to me, and not faster than a few miles per hour. I suspect that the belt is not tight enough (but you do not know much about these things) the only way that really is regardless of the noise may drive the gas only slightly affected.

Sounds like the clutch, you should be online, search for the type you or go-kart engine, or a small engine repair and replace the clutch.
